  • Foundations of Abstract PaintingOngoing

    A three-week series for beginners interested in exploring the making of art. We work through color, mark-making, composition, and layering. You will complete your own 16"x20" painting. All materials provided.

    A single-day immersion in collage, acrylic, oil pastel, and found material. We work fast, we work messy, and we leave with 2 finished pieces on canvas paper. Suitable for all levels.

    An open session for working artists. Bring your current 2D or 3D project.  Wanita will guide you through photographing your work professionally.  You'll leave with a high resolution JPG of your piece and the know-how to recreate the process at home.

Every person who walks into a workshop brings a visual instinct they've been trained to distrust. My job is to get out of the way of that instinct and to create conditions where they can create without apology.

The sessions are small by design. Six to ten people. Enough to generate energy, few enough to have a real conversation. We work from the first hour. There is no warm-up, no icebreaker. The work is the warm-up.
